The Neuroradiology Division, through the Department of Radiology, offers a wide array of diagnostic tests and interventions. We perform all routine MR and CT imaging studies, including MR spectroscopy, diffusion tensor imaging, CT angiography and perfusion, MR angiography and contrast and arterial spin labeled perfusion as well as permeability, susceptibility-weighted imaging, and functional cortical activation studies. Most of these procedures are easily scheduled and may be performed on an outpatient basis.

Diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologists are on call 24/7. Interventional procedures include treatment of aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, embolization of tumors, treatment of acute stroke, treatment of arterial stenoses in the neck and brain, face/neck vascular malformations, and vertebroplasties and kyphoplasties (for more information contact Dr. Solander).
