Division of Neuroradiology

In 1996, Dr. Francis Pepper established the “Wood Fund for Advancement of Neuroradiology at UNC,” as well as an endowed Chair. The fund and Chair were established to honor Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Wood, first Chair of Radiology at UNC and a pioneer neuroradiologist. Income from the fund is used to support pilot research projects and an Annual Memorial Lecture and Visiting Professorships.
