We’ve just completed an extraordinary year measured against any number of benchmarks. Excelling in clinical care, volume of patients and families served, scholarly output, and educational initiatives – our residents have done it all. With the growth of UNC Health Care System have come higher case volumes and case mix indices; our resident scholarly endeavors surpassed all prior years; and we have taken unprecedented numbers of UNC TEC (Translational Education at Carolina) medical students on rotation under our educational initiatives wing. Our newest news? We are very proud of our graduating and rising R4s, with their next stops for prestigious fellowships as follows:
