The UNC Department of Radiology, aligned with the mission of the UNC School of medicine, strives to improve the heath and wellbeing of citizens of the State of North Carolina. We integrate the three pillars of the School of Medicine &#8211; education, research, and clinical care &#8211; with the leadership, excellence, and experience of the Department faculty. The Department aspires to train undergraduate and graduate learners in Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, and subspecialty radiology to be well-rounded physicians poised for clinical success and ready for the challenges of the future.
