A nationally recognized expert in <strong>thoracic radiology<\/strong>, his work focused on lung cancer, trauma imaging, and 3-D imaging techniques\u2014areas in which he helped shape both clinical practice and academic research.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of his career, Dr. Molina:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Authored or co-authored <strong>65+ peer-reviewed publications<\/strong> and <strong>11 book chapters<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Delivered <strong>more than 200 invited lectures<\/strong> at medical centers and scientific symposia worldwide<\/li>\n<li>Contributed to leading professional societies, including:\n<ul>\n<li>American College of Radiology<\/li>\n<li>Radiological Society of North America<\/li>\n<li>Society of Thoracic Radiology<\/li>\n<li>American Roentgen Ray Society<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He was also named a <strong>Fellow of the American College of Radiology<\/strong> and frequently recognized among <em>America\u2019s Top Radiologists<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Equally impactful was his dedication to education. Dr. Molina received <strong>multiple Dean\u2019s Excellence in Teaching awards<\/strong>, earned repeated <strong>Teacher-of-the-Year honors<\/strong>, and was inducted into the <strong>UNC Academy of Educators<\/strong>. His commitment to mentorship and teaching excellence was further exemplified by his selection as a <strong>two-time national finalist<\/strong> for the prestigious <strong>ACGME Parker J.
