The Radiology Core Service Center provides imaging reads by radiologists that are considered outside of standard clinical reads or imaging requirements not considered standard of care for this institution.\u00a0 In addition, the group provides image deidentification services, which include burning studies to a disc or uploading them to outside vendors or Sponsors.\u00a0 Additional information is available to UNC staff through our ONYEN protected page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Billing<\/h2>\nCore services will be invoiced to study accounts as indicated below. Rates are subject to change and study teams will be notified prior to any change in rates. Study teams must submit chart-field string account numbers with all requests for billing purposes unless prior arrangements have been made. Special reads and image anonymization are invoiced on a per scan basis. In instances where individuals have multiple scans on the same day, each scan will be billed individually.<\/p>\n
