Langlotz, MD, PhD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Talk Title: <b>Bridging Discovery and Practice: How AI Research Will Reshape Radiology<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dr. Langlotz is a Professor of Radiology, Medicine, and Biomedical Data Science, a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, and Senior Associate Vice Provost for Research at Stanford University. He also serves as Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI Center), which supports over 250 faculty at Stanford who conduct interdisciplinary machine learning research to improve clinical care. Dr. Langlotz\u2019s NIH-funded laboratory develops machine learning methods to eliminate diagnostic errors and detect disease early. He has led many national and international efforts to improve medical imaging, including the RadLex standard terminology system and the Medical Imaging and Data Resource Center (MIDRC), a U.S. national imaging research resource.<\/p>\n<h2>Agenda<\/h2>\n<p>Coming Soon!<\/p>\n<h2>CALL FOR ABSTRACTS<\/h2>\n<p><strong style=\"font-weight: 400\">We invite you to submit your research for presentation. <\/strong><i>Top submissions will be invited for an oral (PowerPoint) presentation. <\/i>All other submissions will be presented during a poster session. <i style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Selections will be made based on scientific merit and subject area. <\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><strong>Relevant Dates<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><i>Abstract submissions open: November 17, 2025<\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><i><\/i><i>Abstract submissions due: February 9, 2026<\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><i><\/i><i>Acceptance notifications: March 2, 2026 <\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><i><\/i><i>Poster presentations due for printing: April 29, 2026<\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><i><\/i><i>Presentations due for oral presentations: May 4, 2026<\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><i><\/i><i>Research day: May 8, 2026<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Submission Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Submissions can include descriptive, hypothesis-driven, or hypothesis-generating research. Works-in-progress and case reports can be submitted, but interpretation of the work must address the relationship to past, current, or future research issues. Educational exhibits presented in poster format will be considered. <strong>Data<\/strong> <strong>that have been presented elsewhere and\/or published may be submitted. <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>All abstracts must be submitted, in English, using the submission website <a href=\"https:\/\/app.oxfordabstracts.com\/stages\/80407\/submitter\">https:\/\/app.oxfordabstracts.com\/stages\/80407\/submitter<\/a>. Use sentence case for the title.<\/li>\n<li>The abstract should not exceed 2,500 characters, INCLUDING spaces. Title and author information is not included the 2,500 characters. The abstract should be divided into the following sections: Background; Methods; Results; Conclusion; Clinical Relevance (max 200 characters).<\/li>\n<li>Following the abstract text, add a statement addressing informed consent and HIPAA authorization (or waivers of such) for participants described in the research. This statement does not include the 2,500 characters.<\/li>\n<li>Following the abstract text, add a statement addressing any relevant conflicts of interest for the research. If there are no conflicts, please state that the authors have no conflicts to disclose. This statement does not include the 2,500 characters.<\/li>\n<li>You may upload one (1) figure with the abstract submission.<\/li>\n<li>Do not include references, tables, or mathematical equations in the abstract. Avoid acronyms. If used, spell them out when used for the first time.<\/li>\n<li>Present specific data and methodological details to support the results and conclusions. This will assist reviewers in judging the quality of the research. Clarity and brevity of writing will enable evaluation of the research&#8217;s importance.<\/li>\n<li>All submissions must be HIPAA-compliant.
