Professor Li was awarded an estimated $2.5 Million grant award from the National Cancer Institute for his research titled, &#8220;<em>Development of an Efficient 18F labeling technology based on tetrazine trans-cyclooctene ligation.&#8221; <\/em>We are extremely proud of Professor Li and excited for him to pursue this research.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><strong>Grant #:\u00a0<\/strong>1R01CA287184-01<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Period:<\/strong>\u00a012\/05\/2023-11\/30\/2027<\/p>\n<p><strong>Estimated Award Amount:<\/strong>\u00a0$2,500,428<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"0 0 []\">Project Goals:\u00a0In this collaborative project, we will develop efficient methods for the construction of 18F labeled agents using the tetrazine-trans-cyclooctene ligation. We will develop new 18F labeled trans-cyclooctenes and tetrazines as reporters for large molecule distribution in the CNS.
