Her induction will be recognized at the annual Alan W. Cross Evening of Scholarship on Thursday, May 16th. Join us in congratulating Kassie on this incredible honor.<\/p>\n<p>The Academy of Educators (AOE), at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, was founded in October 2006 as a part of the School\u2019s strategic plan to enhance research and scholarship towards excellence in teaching.<\/p>\n<p>The Mission of the Academy is to promote and support excellence in teaching and the work and career paths of excellent teachers; to promote and fund curricular innovation, evidence-based curricular change and a scholarly approach to the education mission; and to provide a forum for education leadership and advice for the Dean, Vice Dean of Education,\u00a0 and Vice Dean of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development (FALD).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kassie McCullagh has been accepted as a member of the Academy of Educators.
