Salary and benefits include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$58,400\/year<\/li>\n<li>15 vacation days\/year<\/li>\n<li>5 sick days\/year<\/li>\n<li>Health Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Support for conference travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uncmedicalcenter.org\/app\/files\/public\/1e808491-8958-4984-b0c9-9bfee485712a\/pdf-medctr-2024-2025-GME-Benefit-Guide.pdf\">Benefits package details<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Selection of applicants for participation in the residency program is done in a manner consistent with the Graduate Medical Education Policy of the University of North Carolina, which states: &#8220;Programs must select from among eligible applicants on the basis of their preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials, communication skills, and personal qualities such as motivation and integrity.
