Leonard Holman Research Pathway.<\/p>\n<p>The Holman Pathway is designed for the exceptional resident who has both strong clinical skills as well as a background in and commitment to radiology or radiation oncology-related research.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Caster\u2019s research proposal is entitled \u201c<i>Using nano-particle delivery to target the DNA repair pathway as a means to improve the therapeutic ratio of radiation therapy.\u201d <\/i>He will conduct his research in the laboratory of Dr. Andy Wang, himself a successful academic physician-scientist.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations Dr. Caster \u2013 we are very proud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Second year radiation oncology resident Dr. Joe Caster has been accepted into the prestigious American Board of Radiology\u2019s B.
