Study Initiation

  1. Please send a message to rcf@med.unc.edu with information about your research, including project goals, animal/specimen type and location, desired irradiator (if known), and any other pertinent information about the study.  We will contact you as soon as possible.
  2. iLab Registration:  Each user needs to have an iLab account for all training, scheduling, and staff support requests.  Instructions for creating an account can be found here.
  3. Animal Protocol:  If irradiating live animals, your IACUC protocol must be approved to include the procedure in order to begin.  Please contact the core with any questions.
  4. Training and Scheduling:  All training requests and scheduling are through iLab. You can submit a training request for the desired irradiator through iLab.  Please refer to our Training, and iLab Scheduling website for more detailed information.
