End-User Support

Service Description

Several OIS divisions offer varying levels of end-user support.  Client Services exists solely for end-user support while other divisions offer end-user support along with many other core functions.

Help Site: help.med.unc.edu

The School of Medicine Help site is a great resource for common end-user support questions.  The site includes training and documentation, faqs, and other information technology resources.

Request Support

  • General Support

    There are several ways to request support:
    • Email help@med.unc.edu
    • Call the Client Services Help Desk at 966-1325 (M-F 8am-5pm)
      • Please Note that the Help Desk is Closed from 2pm - 3pm on Wednesdays for training.
    • Submit an Online Service Request
    • Visit our Walk-in Area
      Located at MacNider Hall, Room 63 (M-F 9am-4pm).
  • Multimedia Support

    For help with multimedia projects/issues (help w/ PowerPoint presentations, web sites, scanning, video, etc.), we suggest you first visit the OIS Multimedia Lab.  The Lab provides free support for all School of Medicine faculty and staff.
