Join us in celebrating the SHAC\u2019s 58th anniversary at the SHAC 5K & Health Fair on Saturday, October 11th<\/strong>!<\/p>\n Last year, we had over 150 runners and walkers registered to support UNC’s SHAC Clinic and so many amazing sponsors!<\/p>\n 100% of the proceeds will go towards SHAC\u2019s free health services<\/strong> for our uninsured and underinsured neighbors in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Durham. Whether you sign up for the 5K or donate – your help and support is greatly appreciated!<\/p>\n The 5K starts and finishes at 7:30 am at the UNC Campus Y Courtyard<\/strong> located at 180 E Cameron Ave in Chapel Hill. Free parking is available anywhere on campus. Parking is also available on Franklin Street.<\/p>\n The entry fee is $25 if registered by September 15th. Beginning September 16th, the entry fee will increase to $30 up to and including race day. The entry fee includes a t-shirt with sizes guaranteed to all those registered by September 15th. After that date the shirts will be given out \u201cas available.\u201d<\/p>\n Pre-registered entrants can pick up their race packets and late entrants can register beginning at 7 am on race day.<\/p>\n Prizes will be given to the overall first, second, and third place male and female finishers, as well as to the top non-binary finisher.
