As a cloud-computing platform, there are costs that come with using <\/span>the SHIRE<\/span>. Many of the costs in the SHIRE are subsidized by UNC Health and the university.<\/span> The charges passed on to researchers are consumption-based charges. Studies with just a few users and straightforward computing needs will have <\/span>lower monthly costs.
