Professor of Surgery
University of Minnesota
As the former Director of Renal Transplant Services at his institution and a former President of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, Dr. Matas continues to be a leader in the field of transplant surgery. He has published extensively on clinical and ethical considerations in organ donation and transplantation, and he maintains membership in numerous academic and professional societies.
