“Engineering Solutions to Injustice”

Stacy Tessler Lindau, MD, MAPP is a tenured Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Medicine-Geriatrics at The University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. She is a leader in the field of women’s health, specifically in the context of aging, cancer, and urban issues. Dr. Lindau’s scientific efforts are dedicated to bringing visibility to what Ralph Waldo Ellison calls “unvisible” issues and populations, including creating basic knowledge about sexuality in later life and developing new tools to quantify and monitor human health and assets in low-income urban communities.
Dr. Lindau is also on the National Advisory Committee for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program, which is set to launch Sept 2016 by UNC.
