There was broad consensus among our test audience that Abridge was the preferred vendor across primary care and specialists across the state. We really looked to our teammates and clinicians to help inform our decision on whether to pursue an AI scribe and, if so, which one. Fortunately, Abridge was the obvious choice.<br \/>\n<\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n        \n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"panel panel-default oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n\n    <div id=\"panel-heading-details-0-2\" class=\"panel-heading oscitas-bootstrap-container\" role=\"tab\">\n\n        <h3 class=\"panel-title oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n\n            <button class=\"accordion-toggle oscitas-bootstrap-container collapsed\" \n                id = \"button-details-0-2\"\n                data-toggle=\"collapse\"\n                data-parent=\"#unc-accordion-0\"    \n                aria-controls=\"#details-0-2\"  \n                aria-expanded=\"false\" \n                href=\"#details-0-2\">\n                How does the AI scribe work with a translator?             <\/button>\n\n        <\/h3>\n\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div id=\"details-0-2\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse  oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n\n        <div class=\"panel-body oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\nAbridge can translate 23 different languages and will only continue to add additional ones. If you are using a translator, Abridge is smart enough to pick up that there is another person (i.e., the translator) and transcribe and translate the conversation as it synthesizes the note.<br \/>\n<\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n        \n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"panel panel-default oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n\n    <div id=\"panel-heading-details-0-3\" class=\"panel-heading oscitas-bootstrap-container\" role=\"tab\">\n\n        <h3 class=\"panel-title oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n\n            <button class=\"accordion-toggle oscitas-bootstrap-container collapsed\" \n                id = \"button-details-0-3\"\n                data-toggle=\"collapse\"\n                data-parent=\"#unc-accordion-0\"    \n                aria-controls=\"#details-0-3\"  \n                aria-expanded=\"false\" \n                href=\"#details-0-3\">\n                What Length of Stay initiatives are coming up that will help improve the lives of clinicians and teammates?             <\/button>\n\n        <\/h3>\n\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div id=\"details-0-3\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse  oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n\n        <div class=\"panel-body oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\nOne initiative that is already live in Epic@UNC is the Medically Ready tool. Physicians and APPs have expressed a desire to be able to push a button and highlight which patients are stable. Medically Ready does exactly this, allowing teammates to focus on discharge planning by highlighting medical readiness. <\/p>\n<p>Another initiative is to help address an issue we know is contributing to extended length of stay for our patients: limited mobility. The Length of Stay\/Get Patients Home work group is partnering with the therapy services team to understand the current model of care and what an improved model of care would be. As a result, UNC Hospitals have started to shift its care model to offer more than a consult so that therapists can help patients get mobilization and continue to progress their care.<br \/>\n<\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n        \n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"panel panel-default oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n\n    <div id=\"panel-heading-details-0-4\" class=\"panel-heading oscitas-bootstrap-container\" role=\"tab\">\n\n        <h3 class=\"panel-title oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n\n            <button class=\"accordion-toggle oscitas-bootstrap-container collapsed\" \n                id = \"button-details-0-4\"\n                data-toggle=\"collapse\"\n                data-parent=\"#unc-accordion-0\"    \n                aria-controls=\"#details-0-4\"  \n                aria-expanded=\"false\" \n                href=\"#details-0-4\">\n                Will the Access Center be focused on the Triangle or will it be statewide?             <\/button>\n\n        <\/h3>\n\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div id=\"details-0-4\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse  oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n\n        <div class=\"panel-body oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\nThe UNC Health Access Center, and specifically the scheduling operation, will be focused on the Triangle initially.
