Summary<\/h2>\n

One45<\/span><\/b>, <\/span>by Acuity Insights<\/span><\/i>, is a web-based system used by UNC School of Medicine students to provide and receive feedback, log patient encounters, check course enrollment\/completion, receive grades and review MSPE\/Dean\u2019s Letter Comments, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Feedback:<\/b><\/span> Students are <\/span>expected<\/span><\/b> to provide meaningful feedback through Course Evaluations, Faculty Evaluations, Peer-Assessments, Self-Assessments, and Surveys via One45. When students are asked to provide feedback, they will receive a new item in the <\/span>Forms to Complete <\/span><\/b>section of their <\/span>To Dos List<\/span><\/b>. When students receive feedback, they will have a new result in the <\/span>Results <\/span><\/b>section of their <\/span>To Dos List<\/span><\/b>. Students receive notifications and reminders to their UNC SOM email address for any new\/outstanding <\/span>To Dos List<\/span><\/b> tasks. Clinical Log:<\/b><\/span> During their third year, students are required to log patient encounters via their <\/span>Pt\/Procedure Log<\/span><\/b> in One45. Further details on the requirements and steps to complete log entries will be provided during the Transition to Application Phase (TAP) course and can be found on the clinical phases technology support site, linked <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Course\/Rotation Sched<\/b><\/span>uling:<\/b><\/span> During third and fourth year, One45\u2019s scheduling algorithm may be used to determine students\u2019 course order and\/or courses. In One45, students may provide either their course order preferences (in their third year, commonly referred to as a stream lottery) or their course and block preferences (in their fourth year, commonly referred to as a rotation lottery). Manual scheduling is also done in One45 by OMSE as needed.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Degree Progression:<\/b><\/span> As students progress through UNC SOM\u2019s curriculum, One45 tracks the courses they have taken that count towards students\u2019 MD degree. To review degree progression in One45, reference the <\/span>My Rotations <\/span><\/b>or <\/span>My Courses<\/span><\/b> tab.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Grades\/MSPE Comments:<\/b><\/span> Final grades and MSPE\/Dean\u2019s Letter Comments (if applicable) are stored in One45. Final grades serve as a record of course completion and are used when creating students\u2019 MSPE. Dean\u2019s Letter Comments are used verbatim on students\u2019 MSPE.
