On Saturday, December 14, 2013, members of the Garner Fire Department brought Santa and his bag of gifts to visit the patients of the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center. Patients, families and staff really felt the holiday cheer from Santa and his merry band of fire service elves. Garner has made this annual visit for more than 15 years. They hold an annual Fireman’s Day to raise the funds to support the Burn Center. Dr. Bruce Cairns met with the group to thank them and to share with them how much their support means to the mission of the Burn Center. We salute you, Garner Fire Department!
