Thoracic surgeons in the UNC Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery are <a title=\"haithcock\" href=\"\/surgery\/ct\/faculty-staff\/haithcock\" class=\"internal-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Benjamin Haithcock, MD<\/a>, and <a title=\"long\" href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/surgery\/ct\/directory\/jason-m-long-md-mph\/\" class=\"internal-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jason Long, MD. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The award was presented at Surgery Grand Rounds on June 8, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>At the same meeting, <a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/findadoc.unchealthcare.org\/Default\/Details\/1912?LastName=Haas\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"haas\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kevan Haas, PA-C<\/a>, won an Outstanding Service Award from Surgery residents in recognition of his commitment to teaching.
