What were you looking for in a residency program?
A place that had a good mix of academic rigor with great operative training. A place where the residents worked hard but had fun and got along with each other and the attendings.
Favorite memory of the intern year
- Getting to sew on part of an AV fistula anastomosis in Transplant
- Placing urgent central lines in the BICU
- Learning to do intracorporeal knots while on SRZ
- Hanging out in the intern workroom passing time with co-interns
