What were you looking for in a residency program?
A program with a broad range of complex operative cases as well as case volume. A place where diversity and inclusion mattered to not only the residents but the administration and faculty. Lastly, a place that had a good pedigree of placing residents in competitive fellowships should that be my desire.

Weekend beach trips with my co-residents
Favorite place to go in NC
Outdoor basketball courts across from the Dean Dome or Woolen Gymnasium. I am still a basketball fanatic and love to play whenever I have the opportunity
