Jennifer was a Program Manager in Automotive for 16 years, before deciding on a career change to become a Nurse. She obtained her RN from Washtenaw Community College in 2019, followed by her BSN from Eastern Michigan University in 2021. Jennifer worked in medical-surgery care for Trinity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital in Michigan, then in dialysis for Fresenius Kidney Care for 1.5 years. Next, she served as a Psychiatric Nurse for New Oakland Family Centers supporting patients with mental health and substance use disorders in adolescents, teens and adults. In March 2022, Jennifer moved to North Carolina, joining the Plastic and Reconstructive Team not long after. Among her motivations for role, Jennifer notes always having an interest in reconstruction, including bearing witness to the impact of a long family history breast cancer. Her combination of skills make her a wonderful addition to the team!
