Our Vision:<\/h2>\n

The USHER Center will be the nation\u2019s premier place to conduct health services research and develop a career at the intersection of surgical quality improvement, surgical coaching, decision sciences, and implementation science.<\/p>\n

Our Mission:<\/h2>\n

The USHER mission is to improve the delivery of surgical care by conducting high-impact research and cultivating the next generation of surgical-scientists.<\/p>\n

Five-Year Goals:<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Develop and advance a statewide quality collaborative for improving the delivery of surgical care.<\/li>\n
  2. Establish a robust and inclusive surgical health services research training program for early career faculty, fellows, residents, and research staff.\u200b<\/li>\n
  3. Acquire and sustain extramural grant funding and philanthropy to support high-impact research.<\/li>\n
  4. Inform health policy at institutional and state levels through community partner-driven research and partnerships.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
