For the first time in his young life, Wesley Telsrow can sleep lying down rather than sitting up and laugh without coughing. Fleming Fuller Award at the 11\/15\/10 meeting of the UNC Health Care Board.  The H. Fleming Fuller Award is intended as a permanent memorial to Kinston, N.C., physician H. Fleming Fuller, a founding member of the Board of Directors of the N.C. Memorial Hospital. In establishing the Fuller Award, the Board sought to recognize members of the medical staff who demonstrate the qualities embodied in Dr. Fuller\u2019s lifelong dedication to the highest standards of Although Newmann has been living with severe Type I diabetes and dealing with the resulting consequences, such as  being legally blind, for nearly 54 of his 58 years. Many of the victims are still struggling to find medical care. Among them were the three patients who were flown into RDU on January 26 to receive expert medical care at the N.C. Jaycee Burn Center at UNC, one of the best and largest burn centers in the Southeast. The burn patients have suffered severe burns from oil, gasoline, and chemicals on over 25%-40% of their bodies and their conditions are further complicated due to the two week delay in proper medical care.
