Through a referring provider, patients can get a consultation appointment the same day their referral is submitted.<\/p>\n<p>This new expedited approach UNC has adopted will benefit patients who need expedited access to general surgery. The clinic is working in conjunction with the UNC Hillsborough campus to fast-track the process it takes for patients to receive consultation with general surgery. The Same-Day Clinic not only streamlines our internal surgery coordination process, but delivers significantly improved wait times for patients\u2014reinforcing our commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.<\/p>\n<p>The clinic will be open from Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is located within The Multispecialty Clinic on the first floor of the N.C.
