SUMMARY:Walk to Cure Arthritis (2017)
DESCRIPTION:The event features a 3-mile and 1-mile course. Refreshments will be available along with music and fun activities for the whole family. Pet owners are welcome to bring their dogs. \nPlease join our TARC HEELS team! You\, your family\, and friends can sign up online at http://www.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=1164571; during registration select “Join a Team” and enter TARCHEELS. \n Remember\, if your friends\, family members\, or children are walking in the event\, they need to be registered\, too. Dogs are welcome at this event. \nThere is no fee to register for the walk\, but we encourage you to raise funds to support the Arthritis Foundation’s efforts in increasing arthritis awareness\, conducting evidence-based arthritis programs\, and supporting arthritis research. If you raise at least $100\, you will receive a Walk t-shirt. \nYou don’t have to walk in the event to participate. A VIP tent is available for non-walkers\, and fun activities are planned for the VIPs while other participants are walking the 1 mile or 3 mile courses.
