DESCRIPTION:“Artificial Intelligence in Orthopedic Surgery – The Future is Now” \nDr. Cody Wyles; Mayo Clinic \nBrief Description: This presentation will highlight core projects from the Mayo Clinic Orthopedic Surgery Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (OSAIL)\, focusing on how imaging and total joint arthroplasty registry data have been leveraged to answer novel questions. Automated radiology annotation tools\, patient-specific risk-prediction calculators\, and synthetic image generation will all be topics for discussion. \nAND \n“The Mayo Clinic Total Hip Arthroplasty Radiography Registry: A Case Study of How AI Can Turn Challenges into Opportunities” \nDr. Pouria Rouzrokh; Mayo Clinic \nBrief Description: This presentation will describe how artificial intelligence (AI) was leveraged at Mayo Clinic to establish a radiography registry for total hip arthroplasty patients\, and how this registry facilitated the incorporation of AI into clinical and research workflows for hip arthroplasty.
