Currently\, there is no disease-modifying treatments to halt the progression of knee OA. Treatments are focused symptom alleviation. Provision of value-based care is centered on efficacy and economic efficiency. The cost-effectiveness measures both efficacy and effectiveness in a single outcome measure.
