Clinic physicians have broad-based experience and skills in caring for children with a range of rheumatic diseases, including juvenile arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, periodic fevers, and many other conditions. The UNC Hospitals Rheumatology Specialty Clinic (located at Carolina Point II, approximately 10 minutes from the UNC Campus in Chapel Hill), provides care for adults with rheumatologic diseases, including collaboration with pediatric rheumatologists to care for young adults who are transitioning from pediatric to adult care.
