Applying advanced research techniques to investigate a newly emerging food allergy is one current focus for Thurston scientists.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Arthritis. Lupus. Food allergies. These are examples of the broad range of diseases that physicians and scientists at the UNC Thurston Arthritis Research Center are focusing on in order to find new ways to help patients live their lives to the fullest.<\/p>\n

As a primarily self-funded entity, we rely on the support of sources such as donors to help us continue our search for new and innovative ways to prevent and treat disease, provide compassionate care to patients, and train the next generation of medical specialists who will be tasked with carrying forth this important mission in the future.<\/p>\n
