Your information will be reviewed by the UNC CCCR leadership, who will respond to your request promptly.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Please note<\/span>\u00a0that while the initial consultation will be complimentary, requests that require multiple consultations and\/or an extended period of support may incur a fee which could include percent effort coverage on the resulting funded grant, for example.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>UNC&#8217;s CCR Methodology Core <strong>includes researchers with in-depth expertise in: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Biostatistics &amp; Bioinformatics<\/li>\n<li>Epidemiological Studies and Clinical Trials<\/li>\n<li>Study Logistics, Implementation, and Dissemination<\/li>\n<li>Imaging, Biomarkers, and Health Disparities<\/li>\n<li>Intervention Development, Clinical Aspects of RMDs, and Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Methodology Core\u00a0<strong>facilitates optimized design<\/strong>\u00a0of studies through its expertise in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced statistical methods (including machine learning and other data science approaches, in collaboration with the Phenotyping and Precision Medicine Resource Core)<\/li>\n<li>Innovative trial design<\/li>\n<li>Complex longitudinal epidemiological methods<\/li>\n<li>Advanced imaging analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Methodology Core also\u00a0<strong>promotes efficiency<\/strong>\u00a0by providing researchers with infrastructure and expertise in essential aspects of study development and conduct, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruitment processes and patient selection criteria<\/li>\n<li>Intervention development<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advisory, Brainstorming and Consultative (ABC) Sessions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>The CCCR\u2019s multi-disciplinary ABC Sessions consist of 6-10 experts providing real-time, constructive and supportive feedback to researchers from a variety of valuable perspectives, including biostatistics, epidemiology, health services research, clinical rheumatology, and allied health sciences.
