auto-immune conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The UNC Thurston Arthritis Research Center and UNC Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology are making exciting discoveries and gaining important new insights in areas such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Osteoarthritis treatment and prevention<\/li>\n<li>The Johnston County Osteoarthritis Project<\/li>\n<li>The Osteoarthritis Action Alliance<\/li>\n<li>Allergies, including alpha-gal<\/li>\n<li>Lupus clinical trials and outreach<\/li>\n<li>Innovative uses of ultrasound<\/li>\n<li>Internet-based, pain coping skills programs<\/li>\n<li>So much more&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We invite you to learn more about our people, and our passion for providing &#8220;Healing and Hope&#8221;
