At this time, we have limited understanding of the mechanisms underlying this condition.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to studying the role glycolipids play regarding this allergy, the new research being led by Dr. Iweala may also link tick exposure to a gene expression and cytokine profile in unconventional T cells that promotes allergic responses.<\/p>\n<p>You can read more about Dr. Iweala\u2019s
