The event features a 3-mile and 1-mile course. Refreshments will be available along with music and fun activities for the whole family. Pet owners are welcome to bring their dogs.<\/p>\n

Please join our TARC HEELS team! You, your family, and friends can sign up online at http:\/\/www.kintera.org\/faf\/home\/default.asp?ievent=1164571<\/a>; during registration select \u201cJoin a Team\u201d and enter TARCHEELS.<\/p>\n

Remember, if your friends, family members, or children are walking in the event, they need to be registered, too. Dogs are welcome at this event.<\/p>\n

There is no fee to register for the walk, but we encourage you to raise funds to support the Arthritis Foundation’s efforts in increasing arthritis awareness, conducting evidence-based arthritis programs, and supporting arthritis research. If you raise at least $100, you will receive a Walk t-shirt.<\/p>\n

You don’t have to walk in the event to participate. A VIP tent is available for non-walkers, and fun activities are planned for the VIPs while other participants are walking the 1 mile or 3 mile courses. Thank you for your support and for representing the Thurston Arthritis Research Center!<\/p>\n
