After its inception in 1997 it had killed 63 patients by mysteriously inducing liver failure.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.14in; line-height: 115%;\"><b>The research team at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy was able to predict outcomes that were actually seen in patients with a model description of the mechanisms that may have caused the liver damage.
