Welcome to the UNC Genitourinary OncoLogy Database Data Request Portal

You can use this website to submit research proposals and request data from the UNC Genitourinary OncoLogy Database (UNC GOLD).

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Genitourinary Oncology Database (UNC GOLD) is a collaborative effort involving UNC and Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center faculty from the Departments of Urology and Radiation Oncology, as well as the Division of Hematology/Oncology.  UNC GOLD was developed as a means of collecting and standardizing clinical, diagnostic, and treatment information for patients with bladder, kidney, prostate, and other genitourinary cancers (such as penile and testicular) that are seen by these providers at UNC.  UNC GOLD utilizes the Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) platform, developed by researchers at Vanderbilt University, and was made possible with support from The North Carolina Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (NC TraCS) at UNC Chapel Hill.  Although UNC GOLD was developed primarily as a clinical database, it is also available to researchers in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center for IRB-approved research studies.  The UNC GOLD Standard Operating Procedures outline the procedures by which clinicians and researchers may request data from UNC GOLD.

Clinicians or researchers who have not previously requested data from UNC GOLD must read the Standard Operating Procedures prior to requesting any data.
