Dr. Monga is the Professor and Chair of Urology at the University of California, San Diego. He has previously served as the Director of the Stevan Streem Center for Endourology & Stone Disease at the Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute of the Cleveland Clinic, and Joseph Sorkness Professor and Vice-Chair of Urology at the University of Minnesota. After graduating from the Chicago Medical School, he completed his residency at Tulane University. He specializes in Endourology and Stone Disease. He was awarded the Endourology Society “Arthur Smith Young Innovators’ Award” in 2007, and has over 400 peer-reviewed publications. His research has focused on the evaluation and design of medical devices related to endourology. In 2018 he was awarded the Ralph Clayman Mentor Award by the Endourology Society.

Dr Monga served as the Secretary of the American Urological Association from 2015-2019. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Endourology Society and on numerous AUA and AUA-Sectional committees including the recent AUA Guidelines Panels for both Medical therapy for Nephrolithiasis and Surgical Therapy for nephrolithiasis. He is the Past-President of the Minnesota Urological Society, the Past-President of the Engineering & Urology Society and the past-Treasurer of the Ohio Urological Society. He was elected to the American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons (AAGUS) in 2016. He is the Past-President of the ROCK (Research on Calculous Kinetics) Society.

Professor Kutikov is the Chief of the Urology and Urologic Oncology Division at the Fox Chase Cancer Center. He is a board certified, academic urologic surgical oncologist who treats urologic tumors using minimally invasive and traditional surgical techniques. His research interests have focused on objectification of surgical metrics reporting, assessment of competing risks of death in patients with urologic malignancies, management of adrenal disease in urologic practice, and other work helping understand and improve patient care in Urologic Oncology. To this end, Alexander has co-authored more than 200 original manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. He has published chapters in leading textbooks, including the definitive chapter on adrenal disorders in “Campbell-Walsh Urology,” and has held leadership positions both in the American College of Surgeons, the American Urological Association, and the Society of Urologic Oncology. Professor Kutikov has significant interests in harnessing web and mobile technology to improve patient engagement and quality of care. He has been a co-founder of several ventures.

Professor Kutikov received an MD from Harvard Medical School’s Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology Program. He completed Urologic residency training at the University of Pennsylvania and finished a 2-year Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, USA.
