On Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the American Urological Association Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Eric Wallen, received the 2012 AUA Teacher of the Year Award. Nominations are submitted to the AUA Residents Committee and a finalist chosen. Angela Smith, MD, one of the chief residents in 2012 for urology, was the author of this year’s nominating letter with input from current residents and alumni.
