The new clinic brings together services previously located at UNC Health Urology at Eastowne and Memorial Hospital, and transitioned cystoscopy procedures from the Urology Department to Perioperative Services. The Department of Urology continues to maintain outpatient services at the ACC and the Hillsborough Medical Office Building.

Because the new clinic supports a variety of urologic care needs, it is helping expand access for both benign and oncology patients, and offering rapid access to procedural diagnostics.
Due to advanced planning, the entire third floor of the building and all elements of the clinic were developed as one integrated, comprehensive clinical space that supports the many different needs of the clinic, in an efficient and streamlined manner. The result is a modern, welcoming space that positions the UNC Department of Urology well for future growth related to urologic care, education, and innovation.
