Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Dhir completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business before attending medical school at the University of Michigan. He is currently finishing his urology residency with Michigan Medicine.
Dr. Dhir is committed to enhancing access to urologic oncologic care by addressing disparities and improving the effectiveness of care delivery. He is excited to join the team at UNC, where he looks forward to collaborating with the university’s diverse and robust departments to ultimately improve patient outcomes.

About the UNC Urologic Oncology Fellowship
UNC Urology’s Urologic Oncology Fellowship is a 2-year program accredited by the Society of Urologic Oncology. It provides rich multidisciplinary exposure to the management of genitourinary (GU) malignancies and mentored career development in health services research, clinical trials, and translational research.
