UNC Urology is thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Minh Pham. Dr. Pham’s return to North Carolina marks not only a professional milestone for him but also a significant moment for our urology department as we continue to grow our esteemed faculty.
A North Carolinian’s Journey
Dr. Pham’s roots run deep in North Carolina – starting his academic journey at Duke University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in Biology in 2012. Dr. Pham then went on to enroll at the UNC School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, where he earned his medical degree in 2017. After completing medical school Dr. Pham pursued his residency training in Urology at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, a period that concluded with his graduation in 2023.
A Homecoming to UNC
UNC Urology is thrilled to welcome Dr. Pham back to Chapel Hill, where he will be joining our faculty as an Assistant Professor. His commitment to advancing urological care aligns seamlessly with our department’s mission to provide cutting-edge and compassionate healthcare across North Carolina.

Clinical Care with UNC
Dr. Pham specializes in general urology, with a keen interest in addressing kidney stones and prostatic diseases such as benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer. His dedication to staying at the forefront of urological advancements promises to enhance the quality of care provided to our patients.
In addition to his role in Chapel Hill, Dr. Pham is extending his expertise to UNC Chatham Hospital. Residents of Siler City and Pittsboro will now have access to urologic care, benefitting from Dr. Pham’s commitment to comprehensive and accessible healthcare.
