He completed his urologic training at the University of North Carolina and then completed a fellowship in Endourology\/Minimally invasive surgery at the Mayo clinic in Arizona. After his fellowship, Dr. Narang returned to UNC and joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology in 2022<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Narang&#8217;s clinical interest include the medical and surgical management of BPH, stone disease and robotic and minimally invasive surgery. It involves injecting hot water vapor (steam) directly into the part of the prostate that compresses the urethra.
