The program spans eight sessions, each focusing on critical elements of career planning and professional development. From team building to financial literacy, LAMP aims at equipping our faculty with the tools they need to excel in academic medicine.<\/p>\n<p>We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Arora and Dr. Pham on their selection for the LAMP program. Their commitment to excellence is not only a source of pride for UNC Urology but a testament to the caliber of professionals within our department.<\/p>\n<h2>About LAMP Sessions<\/h2>\n<p>The LAMP program, organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/facultyaffairs\/\">Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development<\/a>, will unfold over eight months, guiding participants through essential aspects of academic medicine. Holding MD and PhD degrees from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Dr. Arora completed his Urology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Glickman Urologic &amp; Kidney Institute. His commitment to advancing urologic care is evident in his specialization in both pediatric and adult urology, with a focus on minimally-invasive surgical techniques, including robotic surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Arora&#8217;s dedication extends to his research pursuits, where he actively works to improve access to care for pediatric patients with urologic conditions, utilizing telemedicine\/telehealth technologies. Graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his medical degree and completing his residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, Dr. Pham specializes in general urology.<\/p>\n<p>His clinical interests span kidney stones and prostatic diseases, with an emphasis on providing comprehensive urologic care.
