Dr. Smith is the UNC School of Medicine&#8217;s Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, a member of the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Department of Urology&#8217;s Vice Chair of Academic Affairs, and a Professor of Urology.<\/p>\n<p>Offered as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/drexel.edu\/medicine\/academics\/womens-health-and-leadership\/elam\/\">Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine\u00ae (ELAM) program<\/a> at Drexel University College of Medicine, the ELAM Program is designed to equip senior-level women leaders with the strategic acumen and personal effectiveness necessary to navigate the complexities of academic medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Smith&#8217;s selection for this prestigious program underscores her exceptional leadership qualities and\u00a0commitment to advancing healthcare.
