The fellowship is designed to foster the development of promising young researchers by offering an interdisciplinary training curriculum. Fellows participate in various enriching activities such as in-house post-doctoral seminars, the Annual UNC Lineberger Postdoctoral Fellow Research Day, panel discussions on career advancement, ethics in research training, monthly research clubs, interactions with patient advocates, and grant writing and review programs.<\/p>\n<p>Please join us in congratulating Dr. Carpinito on his remarkable achievements and welcoming him to the UNC Urology family. He then pursued his Doctor of Medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine, graduating cum laude in 2019. Dr. Carpinito continued to hone his expertise at the UT Southwestern Urology Residency Training Program in Dallas, TX. He joins UNC Urology as our 2024-2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/urology\/education\/fellowship-programs\/oncology\/\">Urologic Oncology
