At that time the <a class=\"external-link\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/urology\/news\/unc-urology-ranked-among-top-residency-programs-in-the-nation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Urology Residency was ranked 20th among Urology programs nationwide<\/a>. This year&#8217;s annual rankings were published this week, with the UNC Urology program rising to #15 in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Doximity Residency Navigator is an interactive tool designed to help the medical students research and compare residency training programs nationwide based on their unique career interests. It combines objective data with 260,000 nominations, ratings and reviews from over 52,000 U.S. physicians.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/urology\/directory\/raj-pruthi-md-facs\/\">Dr. Raj Pruthi<\/a>, Rhodes Distinguished Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology says,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe are honored to see this growing appreciation of a reputation for excellence in the eyes of our fellow urologists. This recognition is a testament to the culture of collegiality and innovation that we strive to cultivate at UNC Urology.
