In 2020, Schultz was recognized with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/urology\/5-urology-providers-earn-2020-carolina-care-excellence-award\/\">UNC Health Care and UNC Faculty Physicians Award for Carolina Care Excellence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of UNC, Schultz has served numerous prominent roles in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auanet.org\/\">American Urological Association<\/a>. From 2010-2015, Schultz was a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auanet.org\/about-us\/aua-governance\/committees\/education-council-committees\">AUA Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Education Committee<\/a> and subsequently served as the Committee Chair from 2016-2019.<\/p>\n<p>Schultz has also been an active member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auanet.org\/about-us\/aua-governance\/committees\/membership-council-committees\">AUA APP Membership Committee<\/a>, Education Council, and was a co-director of the AUA APP Annual Program. In 2020, The AUA APP Membership Committee named Schultz as the inaugural recipient of the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.magnetmail.net\/actions\/email_web_version.cfm?ep=kS4e7V_IR5UCVJ4lYHPFvbj258IsbQv-qtS4ryOGmwKtnsp1gDo5ivk92vkUkU1Zxxr0Cn2VgPDwTNUtC6fvGpPoQGz3_hd-q_BHtH7bYGoGmuCOOXLKOgUmnfnzr9re\">APP of the Year Award<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>About FAUNA<\/h2>\n<p>Fellows of the Academy of Urologic Nurses and Associates are SUNA members who have made outstanding, sustained contributions to urology education, policy, management, clinical practice, or research.<\/p>\n<p>Each Fellow supports the mission and guiding beliefs of SUNA and become a member of a pool from which the SUNA Board and conference committees can seek advice regarding local speaker recommendations, research proposals, and education offerings.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\"
