Welcome To The Vascular and Interventional Radiology Interest Group Page!

The Vascular and Interventional Radiology Interest Group strives to create an academic community for students that fosters interest in the field of Interventional Radiology

We aim to provide high quality educational activities with the overall goal of nurturing interest in vascular and interventional radiology and thereby serve as a medium through which interested students can network with practicing Interventional radiologists and conduct academic research to explore their interests and further their knowledge of this increasingly prominent field of medicine. Part of our goals are also to provide information on the residency application process, and host a panel of current Interventional Radiology residents to discuss topics such as resident life and match experiences. We also provide members with information regarding shadowing, and networking opportunities-both locally and internationally, career guidance, and advice from attending physicians from the Department of Vascular and Interventional Radiology
Join us for our first lunch meeting on September 9th, 2016 in Bondurant G010 from 12 pm to 1 pm for an introduction to VIR. Lunch will be provided
